The Detention House, which holds inmates under 18 years of age, protects and detains the Protection Cases, Criminal Cases and Drug Rehabilitation Penalty. The Detention House helps the juveniles by surveying the juveniles’ behavior, mental and physical conditions, family status and social environment for the Juvenile Court’s investigation reference. The Detention House also provides counseling and basic education for juveniles in detention period to help them prepare for an order for custody, placement counselling, Reformatory Education or imprisonment, etc.
Discipline Section takes charge of the following services：
(1) Instructions and guidance for living in the Detention House.
(2) Guard and protection.
(3) Reception, communication, letters and package.
(4) Discipline management.
(5) Food, clothes, bedding management.
(6) Work assignment.
