All juveniles go through physical check-ups upon detainment into the Detention House and medical care will be provided on the same day in case of illness. Monthly check-ups include CXR and test for potential infectious disease. Also, the juvenile would go through regular lectures in order to learn knowledge for health and hygiene.

The Detention House provides outpatient medical services under the National Health Insurance Program, with a weekly schedule, including internal medicine, family medicine, dermatology, psychiatry and dentistry.
