In order to enhance the awareness and understanding of fraud-related crimes among the juveniles in custody, invited a prosecutor from the Taipei District Prosecutors Office to deliver a lecture titled “The Impact of Fraud Crimes and Their Criminal and Civil Liabilities.” Through real-life case analyses, the prosecutor explained the operational methods of fraud groups, the possible criminal charges involved, and the severe psychological and financial harm suffered by victims. Using clear and accessible language, the prosecutor reminded the juveniles not to be tempted by greed or manipulated by others into committing crimes, emphasizing that participation in fraudulent activities, money laundering, or serving as a “money mule” could all lead to criminal prosecution and civil compensation. During the session, the juveniles actively raised questions, and the prosecutor responded to each in detail. The lecture aimed to strengthen legal education, help the youths fully recognize the serious impact of fraud on society and families, and guide them to develop proper legal concepts and moral judgment, steering them away from crime and toward a law-abiding and positive future.
