Summary:
To help juveniles in custody gain an early understanding of the diverse career options in society and develop positive motivation for career exploration, our facility organizes a series of “Career Exploration Courses.” Professionals from various fields are invited to share their experiences and guide the youths in learning about different industries, including job responsibilities and career development paths.
This session focused on the theme of “Basic Painting Skills.” An experienced instructor was invited to provide step-by-step and easy-to-understand explanations of fundamental concepts in painting work, including types of paint, the use of tools, construction procedures, and safety precautions. The course also included hands-on practice, allowing the youths to engage in basic wall preparation, primer application, and paint coating. Through direct experience, participants were able to acquire foundational painting skills and deepen their interest and understanding of related career fields.
